The winner can choose to receive their prize in annual payments over 30 years or accept a lump sum of $300 million.

With just one winning ticket, the $570-million prize was the second-largest jackpot win in Powerball history and the seventh-biggest in U.S. lotto history.

The big payday comes just 24 hours after one lucky ticket holder in Florida won the $450 million Mega Millions prize.

The Powerball ticked was sold at the Reeds Ferry Market, a convenience store in Merrimack, N.H. The store will receive $75,000 bonus for selling the lucky ticket, according to New Hampshire Lottery spokeswoman Maura McCann.

The odds of purchasing a winning Powerball ticket were one in 292.2 million. The Powerball will now rest to $40 million.
