THORNTON, Colo., Jan. 16 (UPI) -- The FBI can now remove Myloh Jaqory Mason from their "Ten Most Wanted" list. Agents apprehended the "Scream Robber" suspect at a Motel 6 in Thornton, Colorado, on Friday.

Mason is accused of robbing two banks in the suburbs of Denver while wearing a skeleton mask similar to the one made famous by the horror movie Scream. Mason has been on the most-wanted fugitives list since December, after sources connected him to the two robberies.

Mason allegedly told bank tellers he would kill them if they didn't open the vault. During one of the two robberies, at a bank in Lakewood, Colorado, on Nov. 18, two people were shot as Mason and two other men made their getaway, police said. Mason's two accomplices remain on the run, authorities said.

"The capture of this dangerous felon means our community is safer, because we believe Mason would have continued committing violent crimes while he was on the run," Thomas Ravenelle, special agent in charge with the FBI Denver Division, said in a statement.

"I thank each of the task force members for their hard work and commitment, as they worked day and night to get him behind bars."

Mason is facing a number of charges, including attempted first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, kidnapping and assault.
