CINCINNATI, July 28 (UPI) -- Three Kroger brand spices and bottles of the store-brand's bacon crumbles have been recalled for possible salmonella contamination, the grocery chain said Saturday.
The company said a sample of its garlic powder from a store in North Augusta, S.C., tested positive for salmonella by the FDA. Though no illnesses have been reported in connection to the contamination, Kroger said it's recalling the garlic powder and three other items produced on the same equipment at the facility.
