SACRAMENTO, June 7 (UPI) -- Authorities say they found no explosives on a passenger plane at Sacramento International Airport following a bomb threat on Saturday night.

Delta flight 2371 was one of 10 flights the Transportation Security Administration had been told carried homemade explosives.

After flying in from Minneapolis, the plane was held on the tarmac after landing at 7:21 p.m. Police evaluated the aircraft with bomb-sniffing dogs before officers gave the all-clear and allowed 133 passengers and five crew members to exit.

KCRA quoted a Delta spokesman as saying police deemed the bomb threat "noncredible."

"Customers were re-screened following the aircraft's arrival in Sacramento and subsequently cleared to deplane to the terminal," the spokesman said.

Sacramento County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Sgt. Lisa Bowman confirmed to the Sacramento Bee that the plane carried no explosives.

The incident comes four days after a bomb threat against a U.S. Airways plane flying from San Diego to Philadelphia. Authorities at Philadelphia International Airport evacuated the plane and searched with K-9 units but found no explosives.

Almost a dozen hoax threats have been made on planes in the past two weeks, including Delta Air Lines Flight 55, United Airlines Flight 995, Volaris Flight 939 and Korean Air Flight 23, which were all threatened Tuesday but landed safely.
