MIAMI, April 21 (UPI) -- A solid gold brick linked to a $4.9 million gold heist that took place in March has been recovered in South Florida, reports the FBI.
The gold bar, weighing about 26 pounds and worth at around $500,000, "confirms that there is a South Florida nexus to this crime," Special Agent Justin Fleck said. "We believe that additional gold bars from the robbery may still be in South Florida and we continue to need the public's help in solving this crime."
