PHOENIX, March 31 (UPI) -- Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey signed a controversial bill requiring that physicians inform women, who are receiving medically-induced abortions, that the procedure can be reversed.
The Republican governor said he is defending the "right to life." He is a known pro-life advocate. Opponents of the bill state the claim that a procedure to reverse drug-induced abortions is not supported by medical science, according to The Arizona Republic.
