NEW YORK, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani went on CBS' Face the Nation Sunday to say New York's current mayor, Bill de Blasio, should apologize to the NYPD.
Giuliani said de Blasio created "an impression with police that he was on the side of the protesters" during the Eric Garner protests in New York. De Blasio spoke at a press conference after a grand jury decided not to indict the officer who killed Eric Garner and made comments that sounded like he supported the protesters more than the police force.
