There were four other people in the home at the time of the shooting — LePage's brother Michael, his wife, Jill, and their two children shared the house with LePage — but police believe LePage used a pillow to muffle the sound of the gunshots.
Jill LePage has been "the rock" of the family, a member of the community, Jeff Siedlecki, told the Philadelphia Inquirer. "I think she's concerned that she's bringing her kids back in the house, so she's trying to do the best she can to prepare for that."
Their children have not been in the house since the incident.
It's not clear why LePage killed her children and took her own life.
