"It’s one thing to disagree with the decision to shoot this buck, but to target an 11-year-old will not be tolerated," said Jordan Browne, a host of Michigan Out-of-Doors Television, which featured the hunt.

LIVINGSTON, Mich., Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Gavin Dingman, the 11 year old who shot an albino deer, has been receiving death threats from people angry about the killing of the rare deer.

The deer, born from genetic defect, represented about one in 20,000 deer births. Many animal protection activists were outraged at the viral images of the Dingman and his kill. This outrage has even led some to threaten the child's life.

Jordan Browne, a host of Michigan Out-of-Doors Television which featured the hunt, said they have had comments that have spanned from "polite opinions all the way to death threats and everything in between."

One person even suggested Dingman be shot with an arrow. Browne has said they have deleted all the overt threats from their page.

"It's one thing to disagree with the decision to shoot this buck, but to target an 11-year-old will not be tolerated," he said."
