PATERSON, N.J., July 15 (UPI) -- Two young men have now been charged with killing Genesis Rincon, a 12-year-old girl hit by a stray bullet as she rode a scooter in Paterson, N.J.

Bail was set at $2 million Tuesday for Jeffery Ellerbee, 21. Like Jhymiere Moore, 19, who appeared in court Friday, Ellerbee pleaded not guilty to murder and weapons possession.

A third man, Marshae Anthony, 19, has been charged with weapons offenses.

Alexis Rincon and Jenny Calderon sat quietly with relatives as their daughter's alleged killer was arraigned. Rincon wore a hat that said "Justice for Genesis," and Calderon cried during the hearing, but no one in the family would comment.

"We're going to let justice prevail," said the Rev. Della Fischer, a family spokeswoman.

Genesis, accompanied by her sister and a friend, were on their way to a store July 5 when she was shot in the head. Her family kept her on life support for two days so organs could be donated.

Religious leaders announced Sunday they were started G-12, an organization that takes its name from Genesis and its plans to try to reduce violence on 12 Paterson blocks.
