WASHINGTON, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden had lunch with five active-duty service members Tuesday at an Irish-themed Washington restaurant-bar.
The reason for the casual get-together with the troops at Molly Malone's Barracks Row was two-pronged: to thank them for their service and to get direct feedback from enlisted troops and junior officers ahead of the two leaders' meeting later in the day with combat commanders and military leadership.
