Ohio man pleads not guilty to triple homicide

CLEVELAND, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- A Cleveland man accused of killing three women pleaded not guilty Thursday.

A Cuyahoga County grand jury reindicted Michael Madison, 36, Tuesday on aggravated murder charges in the deaths of Angela Deskins, 38, Shetisha Sheeley, 28, and Shirellda Terry, 18, WJW-TV, Cleveland, reported.

Madison, who was originally arrested July 19, has also been charged with kidnapping, gross abuse of a corpse, rape and having weapons under disability.

Madison's cellmate at the East Cleveland jail testified the suspect confessed to the killings while in prison.

Court records show Madison pleaded guilty to attempted rape in 2002 and was sentenced to four years in prison.
