LAS VEGAS, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- A good Samaritan was killed and three others wounded in a shooting outside a night club inside Bally's Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, police said.

Initially, a manager was wounded. In the fray, a club patron tried to disarm the suspect and was fatally shot, KVVU-TV, Las Vegas reported.

Two other security guards were also shot. Police didn't say anything about the severity of injuries suffered by the three wounded victims or the suspect, who was also injured in the scuffle.

Police said the suspect was booked in absentia into Clark County Detention Center after paramedics took him to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Club patrons were evacuated following the incident.
