Sister of Hannah Anderson abductor labels teen 'trouble'

NEW YORK, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- The sister of the man suspected of kidnapping Hannah Anderson said she warned her brother that the California teen was "trouble" and he needed to "watch out."

Lora DiMaggio told CNN in an interview that there are a lot of holes in the case involving her brother James and he may have been a victim.

James DiMaggio was killed by an FBI hostage rescue team in Idaho earlier this month following the disappearance of Anderson and the discovery of the bodies of her mother and brother in DiMaggio's burned home east of San Diego.

"I remember very vividly telling my brother, 'She's trouble,'" Lora DiMaggio said. "I said, 'You need to watch out for that one.'"

DiMaggio said the only evidence against her brother that has come forward so far is the fact the two bodies were found on his property.

"There's a lot of missing information. I have yet to see any solid evidence," she said.

DiMaggio said her brother may have come to the aid of Hannah.

"I know that the Hannah Anderson that I saw a few nights ago on TV is certainly not the girl that stayed in my home three weeks prior to them disappearing," DiMaggio said refusing to elaborate.
