MIAMI, Aug. 5 (UPI) -- Tropical Storm Henriette was moving slowly west of Baja California, Mexico, Monday and should become a hurricane Tuesday, forecasters said.
Henriette, with sustained winds of 70 mph, was about 1,470 miles west-southwest of the southern tip of Baja California, moving northwest at 12 mph, the National Hurricane Center in Miami said in its 8 p.m. PDT advisory.

No coastal watches or warnings were in effect.
Henriette is expected to strength and should become a hurricane by Tuesday, the center said.
Tropical storm-force winds extended as far as 80 miles out from Henriette's center.
