MIAMI, July 4 (UPI) -- A rape suspect in Miami allegedly attracted some of his victims by posing as a photographer on Craigslist, police said.
Anthony Molina-Iglesias, 30, was arrested Tuesday and charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual assault with the use of a weapon.
The most recent incident occurred June 28, police said. The two victims said they knew Molina-Iglesias through Craigslist, the online classified ad website.
The two women, ages 20 and 23, thought Molina-Iglesias was going to take their modeling pictures in a heavily wooded area, The Miami Herald reported Thursday.
But the man allegedly isolated the 23-year-old, choked her until she fainted, tied her hands behind her back and raped her. He also reportedly choked the 20-year-old and tied her hands behind her back.
The suspect then fled the scene, police said.
Molina-Iglesias is also accused of raping another 20-year-old after promising her free modeling photos, the police report said.
He allegedly took her to an isolated wooded area and raped her at gunpoint.
