Indiana County Chief Deputy Coroner Jerry Overman said the men were attending a party in South Mahoning Township.

"There was a party on this property involving anywhere from five to 15 people. There was some drinking involved from what we understand," Overman said.

At some point during the party, the men left and then returned at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Overman said, adding that they were allegedly consuming alcohol at a nearby bar in the interim.

On the way back to the party, Titus, who was driving, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a small pond, overturning the vehicle.

The other young men witnessed the incident and ran into the pond to try and save Titus, McMillen and Douglas.

Overman pronounced the three dead at the scene. Autopsies will be performed the Memorial Medical Center.
