Double murder-suicide discovered in Topeka

TOPEKA, Kan., April 13 (UPI) -- Police in Topeka, Kan., Saturday characterized three shooting deaths as a double murder-suicide.

The three people found dead in a house Friday night were identified as Shawna K. Solis, 36, Antwan M. Muhammad, 40, and Howard E. Givens, 37.

Topeka police Lt. Chuck Haggard said he wasn't authorized to identify which of the three individuals investigators believe was the shooter, The Topeka Capital-Journal reported.

He said at least one of the victims lived at the home and at least one gun was found at the scene.
