NEW YORK, April 9 (UPI) -- Talk-show host Stephen Colbert set up a Twitter account for Bill Clinton and urged the former U.S. president to send his first tweet on "The Colbert Report."

EW.com said the former commander-in-chief generally avoids social media, but went along with Colbert and dictated his first tweet in the episode of "The Colbert Report" that aired Monday night.

"Just spent amazing time with Colbert! Is he sane? He is cool! #cgiu

Billy Jeff Clinton (@PrezBillyJeff)"

Colbert chose the casual-sounding user name because more obvious titles, which could be associated with Bill Clinton were already taken, EW.com said, adding it is not likely Clinton will use the account again.
