None of the people injured had life-threatening injuries, said Tim Szymanski, a spokesman for Las Vegas Fire and Rescue.

Investigators said Lindsey's vehicle hit a median as he made a left turn Monday, causing him to enter the opposing lanes of traffic. It collided with a Mitsubishi Galant and a Ford F-150 pickup, and then struck the far curb and a wall around the restaurant's patio before hitting the outdoor dining area and the building.

Lindsey and a passenger in the vehicle attempted to flee, officials said, but were caught by witnesses.

The driver of the Galant received minor injuries, while the pickup driver was not hurt. Lindsey received minor injuries.

He was booked on charges of driving under the influence of drugs resulting in substantial body harm, felony reckless driving and felony hit and run, Las Vegas police said in a statement.
