TACOMA, Wash., Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Three U.S. Army Rangers became entangled in tall trees after parachuting in Washington state but they were eventually brought down safely, officials said.
The jumpers, from the 75th Ranger Regiment, were taking part in a training exercise at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, CNN reported.

Rescue workers climbed the trees to reach the Rangers, said Lt. Col. Gary Dangerfield, base spokesman.
"[The Rangers had] a couple of bumps and bruises," Dangerfield said
It was the second time in the past year that parachutists got stuck in tall trees around the base, he said.
