LA HABRA, Calif., Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Nadya Suleman and her 14 children are moving from their home in Orange County, Calif., where they have lived for the past three years, officials said.

Suleman, known as the Octomom, is moving with her children to a home in Palmdale, The Orange County (Calif.) Register reported Wednesday.

The move came after the family's home in La Habra was foreclosed upon earlier this year after Suleman fell behind on her $3,000 monthly payments on an all-inclusive trust deed.

Suleman has put down a large deposit and paid several months in advance for her family's new home in Palmdale, said her manager, Gina Rodriguez.

"In the Antelope Valley, she can get more for her money," Rodriguez said in an email. "Bigger home and property for less. She also wanted to get completely away and start fresh in a new area."

Suleman became famous in January, 2009, when she gave birth to eight children, after already having six. All of her 14 kids were conceived through fertility treatments.
