BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Accused Aurora, Colo., movie theater shooter James Holmes was rejected by the University of Alabama Birmingham's neuroscience program, school documents said.
Information released Thursday by the university said despite high marks for laboratory work and scores on graduate admissions tests, Holmes' personality troubled professors during interviews. He was declined admission to the school's neuroscience doctoral program, and was informed of the decision on March 31, 2011.
