FOLSOM, Calif., Aug. 15 (UPI) -- Police shot and killed a bank robbery suspect after a foot chase that ended when the suspect burst into a home in Folsom, Calif., investigators said.
The suspect ran through the parking lot of a Target store and into a residential area, and then allegedly entered someone's home, where officers shot him, police told KCRA-TV, Sacramento.

An off-duty police office witnessed the alleged robbery and called authorities shortly after 5 p.m. PDT.
The identity of the suspect was not released. No one else was reported injured.
