New details on Sandusky allegations emerge

STATE COLLEGE, Pa., May 19 (UPI) -- Newly filed court documents provided more details on sexual assaults allegedly committed by former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.

The documents submitted to Centre County (Pa.) Court on Friday were apparently a response to the contention by Sandusky's attorney that the state's case was overly vague, The (Bethlehem, Pa,) Morning Call said.

Sandusky, 63, faces trial next month on 52 counts of sexual abuse against young boys he had contacted through his charitable foundation. The Morning Call said the amended filings did not add or drop any charges.

The newspaper said the new documents provided additional details of some allegations and adjusted various dates of the alleged incidents. Prosecutors have conceded pinning down exact dates is not possible in some cases due to the age of the alleged victims and the allegedly multiple occurrences.
