LOS ANGELES, March 9 (UPI) -- The death of a 4-year-old girl found hanging in a closet in a Los Angeles home appears to have been accidental, police said.
KTLA-TV, Los Angeles, reported police said it appears the girl had been playing unsupervised and somehow choked herself.

Family members found the girl, who was taken Thursday to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Sources told the Times there were no immediate signs foul play was involved in the death at the home in the city's Westchester area.
