NORCROSS, Ga., Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Five people are dead in what police are calling a murder-suicide at a spa in Norcross, Ga.
Norcross police said two of the victims of Tuesday night's shooting were Asian women and three were Asian men, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Wednesday.
Four of the victims died at the scene at the Su Jung Health Sauna and the fifth died at a hospital, police said. The victims were found when police responded to a report of a person being shot.
"Preliminary investigation revealed that an Asian male entered the business and shot four of the victims and then shot himself," Norcross Police Capt. Brian Harr said.
Surveillance video showed a gunman entering the spa then talking to one of the victims before he opened fire, WSB-TV, Atlanta, reported. Police said they thought at least 20 people were in the spa when the shooting started.
"I think it happened so quickly that a lot of the people didn't realize what happened, and then it was over," Harr said.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the investigation, police said.
