Corpse found in apartment bathroom

STOCKTON, Calif., Dec. 7 (UPI) -- The body of a woman who appears to have died four months ago was found in a Stockton, Calif., apartment, police said.

The death is being investigated as a possible homicide, the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday.

The third-floor apartment was rented by Devon Epps, 26, and police say he may have lived with the corpse for months. Police are searching for the man, who recently was evicted.

The body was found Monday in the bathroom, next to the bathtub, the newspaper said.

Some of the apartments are occupied by recovering alcoholics and drug addicts, a building manager told the Stockton Record.
