Man killed during rodeo in New Jersey

DUTCH NECK VILLAGE, N.J., Oct. 10 (UPI) -- A 24-year-old New York man died during a bull riding accident at Dutch Neck Village, N.J., police say.

Police say Rigoberto Flores was participating in a "ro-DE-o'' event Sunday evening at Dutch Neck Village, The News of Cumberland County reported.

Flores was thrown from a bull, said State Police Sgt. Julian Castellanos. He was pronounced dead by a doctor at a hospital in Vineland.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
