ALBUQUERQUE, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- A former New Mexico supermarket worker admitted Thursday that he gave a female customer a yogurt sample after tainting it with his semen.
Anthony Garcia's plea agreement calls for a federal prison term of up to three years, KRQE-TV reported. It must still be approved by another federal judge.

Garcia, 32, of Albuquerque pleaded guilty to food tampering and lying to federal investigators. He could have received a sentence of up to eight years.
The incident occurred in January at a Sunflower Market near Corrales. Albuquerque police said Garcia may have done the same thing at another Sunflower Market, KOAT-TV said.
The tainting was confirmed by DNA testing, investigators said.
Garcia was being held without bail.
