CHICAGO, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Chicago police said Thursday they were searching for four women in their 20s who beat, robbed and carjacked an 80-year-old man.

Police said the women carjacked Wilbert Allen, a retired Chicago police detective, Wednesday evening on King and 71st Street and brought him to an alley near the 6900 block of South Parnell, WLS-TV, Chicago, reported Thursday.

The women allegedly pepper sprayed Allen, beat him with his cane, pulled him from his car and left him in the alley.

"They struck me in the head several times," Allen said. "They drug me out of the car two on each side. … Two had one leg, two had another. I want to put them in jail. I want to catch them."

He said the women took his wallet, keys and police badge and left with his 1999 beige Toyota Camry.

A neighbor called 911, and Allen was treated at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center for his injuries, the TV station said.
