FBI joins in hunt for missing girl

STEWARTSTOWN, N.H., July 28 (UPI) -- The FBI said its child abduction team has joined the search for an 11-year-old girl missing from her Stewartstown, N.H., home since Tuesday.

"We're building a bridge of hope," said Lori Stott, who stood alongside U.S. 3 near the Canadian border with a picture of Celina Cass, 11, so passing motorists could see it, the New Hampshire Union Leader in Manchester reported.

"We are desperately trying to look for her," said Jane Young, senior assistant attorney general for New Hampshire.

Young, a homicide prosecutor, said investigators are "treating this as a missing person case."

The FBI's Child Abduction Rapid Deployment team has been called into the case, said Kiran Ramsey of the New Hampshire FBI office.

Officials have released few details about the investigation but encouraged anyone with information about the case to contact them.
