Investigators said one guest pulled a weapon when an altercation broke out and started shooting inside the house about 10 p.m. Saturday.

The suspected shooter left the house in a gray sport utility vehicle.

Apopka police stopped the vehicle a short time later and detained several occupants, including the alleged shooter, the newspaper reported. Police say they also confiscated what they believed to be the gun used in the incident.

Police didn't release any names. Two of the injured were in surgery Sunday; one reportedly had life-threatening injuries.
