ORLANDO, Fla., June 14 (UPI) -- Prosecutors presented their final witness Tuesday in Casey Anthony's trial in Florida for allegedly killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.

They said they would formally rest their case Wednesday morning, the Orlando Sentinel reported. The defense will then present its case.

Orange-Osceola County Chief Judge Belvin Perry denied a defense motion for a mistrial.

Tattoo artist Bobby Williams described etching the Italian words "Bella Vita" or "Beautiful Life" on Anthony's back a few weeks after Caylee was last seen in 2008. Williams said that on a return visit with a friend Anthony told him Caylee was with her nanny.

Earlier, Cindy Anthony testified about her granddaughter's hair styles and was asked about items found with Caylee's body, including duct tape. Caylee's skeletal remains were discovered in December near the grandparents' home in Orlando.

Cindy Anthony got upset when she was shown a photo of Caylee wearing a pink T-shirt with the slogan "Big trouble comes in small packages." She said she did not see the T-shirt or the photo, taken at the home of a friend of Casey Anthony, until after her granddaughter's death.
