SHOW LOW, Ariz., June 8 (UPI) -- A Pennsylvania woman who was determined to be insane when she killed her two sons has been found dead in her minivan in an Arizona ravine, police said.

Investigators say Meghan Lippiatt may have taken her own life, the Lancaster (Pa.) Intelligencer-Journal reported. She was wearing a winter coat, suggesting the crash was some time ago, and police said she had been dead for at least two months.

"We can't say it was an accident. We can't say it was suicide," Greg Cardita, a Navajo County medical examiner, told the newspaper Tuesday.

Lippiatt, who had been living with her parents in East Donegal, Pa., was last seen in Lancaster County in late February.

Tourists taking pictures discovered the car Saturday at the bottom of the 500-foot-deep canyon near Show Low, Ariz., police said. One had a lens powerful enough to spot the vehicle.

The site on an Indian reservation has attracted at least two suicides recently.

Lippiatt killed her two sons, a baby and a 2-year-old, in 2004 in her home in Mount Joy. In 2007, a judge found her not guilty by reason of insanity and ordered her immediate release.
