Singer was arraigned Tuesday morning. Skillern told a judge at the hearing his son, Jonathan, who had cerebral palsy, was emaciated and had bedsores.

Police arrested Singer early Sunday morning when he showed up at his father's house with the boy's body. The grandfather called police.

Singer is free on $50,000 bail.
