FBI gets Tucson shooting defendant photos

TUCSON, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Arizona investigators said they turned the photos accused Tucson gunman Jared Loughner left at a Walgreens over to the FBI.

The images reportedly show Loughner clad in a bright red g-string and posing with the handgun he allegedly used to gun down six people and injure 13 others, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., outside a Tucson supermarket last weekend.

The Pima County Sheriff's Office told ABC News the photos were on a roll of film Loughner dropped off at Walgreens for processing the night before the Jan. 8 shootings.

ABC said Saturday the photos were part of a timeline the FBI and local investigators have been putting together of Loughner's actions leading up to the shooting spree.

Loughner remained in custody Saturday pending further court proceedings while Giffords continued her recovery from a head wound at the University of Arizona Medical Center.
