Santa-dresser denies child porn charge

NORTH PLATTE, Neb., Dec. 14 (UPI) -- A Nebraska man who says he frequently dresses up as Santa during the holiday season has pleaded not guilty to possessing child pornography.

Daniel Davis, 57, of North Platte entered his plea Monday to eight counts of possessing child pornography in Lincoln County District Court, KNOP-TV in North Platte reported.

North Platte police said they arrested Davis in October after receiving information he had child pornography on his home computer.

Investigators said they discovered a Santa suit in Davis's home.

His trial is set for March 15.
