'Geezer bandit' hits 11th Calif. bank

LOS ANGELES, June 25 (UPI) -- A bank robber dubbed the Geezer Bandit has hit his 11th bank, this time in Southern California's Riverside County southeast of Los Angeles, authorities say.

The robber, nicknamed by the FBI because of his age, is suspected of robbing 10 banks in San Diego County since August, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday.

The FBI and sheriff's departments in San Diego and Riverside counties have appealed to the public for help in finding him, the Times reported.
