JERUSALEM, May 19 (UPI) -- Two right-wing Israeli activists said Wednesday if White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel holds a bar mitzvah in Jerusalem for his son they will disrupt it.

Itamar Ben Gvir and Baruch Marzel sent a letter to Emanuel warning: "We promise to accompany your son's bar mitzvah events in Israel. We will make sure to receive you as you deserve to be received ... with catcalls and disgust."

The activists blame Emanuel for U.S. President Barack Obama's hard line against Jewish settlements in the West Bank, ABC reported.

Maariv reported Emanuel contacted Israeli authorities in January about holding the bar mitzvah of his son, Zach, at the Western Wall in Jerusalem but government officials said there had been no further contact on the matter.

It would take at least a month to coordinate the event, the report said.
