MANASSAS PARK, Va., Feb. 24 (UPI) -- A Virginia driver allegedly unknowingly dragged a man, who had already been hit by another vehicle, under her car for 2 miles, police said.

Carroll H. Humphries, 39, of Manassas Park, was struck Monday while crossing a road in Prince William County by a vehicle driven by a Woodbridge man. The man stopped at the scene, but the second driver hit Humphries as he lay on the ground, The Washington Post reported.
