Aunt arrested in baby's abduction

SWANSEA, Mass., Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Police in Altoona, Pa., arrested a woman who allegedly abducted a baby from a gas station parking lot in Swansea, Mass., Massachusetts authorities said.

Kimberly D. Johnson, 38, is accused of kidnapping Jaylin Boudria, 1, last Thursday from Johnson's half-sister. The baby was found in an insurance company parking lot several hours later, the Boston Globe reported. The child was taken when her mother went into the gas station to buy a drink, the Globe said.

Swansea police and Massachusetts State Police said in a statement Johnson was arrested at a women's homeless shelter where she had checked in using an alias.
