N.J. police investigate mob-style killings

TEANECK, N.J., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Authorities in Teaneck, N.J., say they are investigating the execution-style slaying of two New York men.

Jonathan Beneduce, 28, and Michael Mirasola, 27, were found shot to death in a bullet-riddled sport utility vehicle in Teaneck, the New York Daily News reported Friday.

The engine of their black Ford Explorer was still running when a neighborhood woman spotted the vehicle outside her home Thursday morning.

"She came close enough to see that the guy (in the passenger seat) was shot," the woman's daughter said, adding that there were bullet holes in some of the vehicle's windows.

Both victims had been shot multiple times.

Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli said the two men were unemployed and had been living with their parents in Queens.

A law enforcement source said police are exploring every angle, including a possible mob hit.
