Students, leaders sit with first lady

WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- High school and college students, local government leaders and business chiefs joined U.S. first lady Michelle Obama Wednesday to hear the State of the Union.

Jill Biden, wife of vice president Joe Biden, joined Michelle Obama and guests to listen to President Barack Obama's first State of the Union address before a joint session of Congress and a national prime time audience.

Haitian Ambassador Raymond Joseph was on the guest list, as were military personnel or their spouses and U.S. citizens who shared their stories about healthcare problems during Obama's town hall meetings.
