2 women killed in Oklahoma were pregnant

OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- At least two of the four people whose bodies were found after an Oklahoma City house fire were pregnant women who died of gunshots, officials say.

The Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office said Friday the women had been identified as Millie Barrera, 22, and Brooke Phillips, 21, The Oklahoman reported. Phillips had recently been a prostitute at a legal Nevada brothel, the Moonlite Bunny Ranch near Carson City, and appeared in an HBO show about the brothel.

Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater said anyone charged with the killings could face six counts of first-degree murder because state law now allows murder charges when fetuses are killed with their mothers.

Firefighters found the four bodies when they responded to the blaze Monday. The other two had not been officially identified Friday, but friends and relatives said they were Jennifer Lynn Ermey, 25, and Casey M. Barrientos, 32. Barrientos, released from prison in July, had done time for drugs and drive-by shootings, his records showed.

Jose Fierro, who rented the one-story house, was interviewed by police Wednesday, his lawyer said.
