The two major international gatherings ended in Serbia Sunday.

Of 10,000 athletes and officials who took part at the 12-day World University Games in Belgrade, six fell ill with flu symptoms. The patients were from Argentina, Australia, Uganda and Zambia.

Out of more than 150,000 fans and performers that attended the four-day Exit music festival at Novi Sad, north of Belgrade, eight contracted the H1N1 virus, seven from Britain and one from the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, the FoNet news agency reported.
