Man who claimed paralysis caught dancing

ORLANDO, Fla., April 25 (UPI) -- An Orlando, Fla., man caught dancing has been sentenced to 13 months in prison for faking paralysis to collect benefits, said the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Patrick Wilson was sentenced Friday after pleading guilty to two counts of theft of government property for faking a disability and collecting an estimated $155,000 in benefits, prosecutors said Friday.

Wilson was charged after investigators for federal labor and veterans affairs departments videotaped him dancing, working on his roof and landscaping his home, The Orlando (Fla.) Sentinel reported Saturday, noting Wilson has been ordered to repay the benefit money.
