Holocaust-denying bishop said in scuffle

BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- The Holocaust-denying bishop who was ousted from Argentina was involved in a scuffle Tuesday at the Buenos Aires airport, sources say.

ANSA reported that Bishop Richard Williamson, 68, allegedly attacked a reporter who approached him for comment. Williamson garnered international headlines over his belief that Nazis did not use gas chambers to kill Jews during World War II.

ANSA reported that Williamson was ordered out of Argentina Friday for alleged irregularities in his documentation.

Williamson is a member of a traditionalist group Saint Pius X Society, which split with the Vatican over the liberal reforms of the 1960s,. He had run a seminary near Buenos Aires since 2003.
