Iran says nuclear IAEA report not new

TEHRAN, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- A report on Iran's nuclear situation by the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency had nothing new, the Iranian IAEA representative says.

"The report (by IAEA Director General Mohammad ElBaradei) shows that inspections in Iran are going on ordinarily and that, practically, have become routine," Ali Asqar Soltanieh told the Fars News Agency.

"Though it is mentioned that Iran has not suspended the enrichment and not ratified the protocol … we have repeatedly expressed our technical and judicial reasons for those points."

The Iranian envoy said that Iran will continue to cooperate fully with the IAEA.

In their report, released in Vienna, IAEA inspectors said they found one-third more low-enriched uranium than expected but no indications of further enrichment that would be necessary to fuel a nuclear bomb.
