LAS VEGAS, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- A jury of three men and nine women has been seated in the Las Vegas trial of O.J. Simpson on armed robbery and kidnapping charges.

The panel, plus six alternates, is to report to court Monday for opening arguments. They were chosen after four days of questioning, winding up in a marathon session that ended late Thursday.

Simpson, the football legend and actor, and co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart are charged with holding up two sports memorabilia dealers last September in a Palace Station hotel room.

The panel is comprised of 10 white jurors and two Hispanic jurors, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. Two of the alternates are black.

Simpson worked with his attorneys in the jury selection process, the Review-Journal said, adding that during breaks he appeared relaxed, discussing Saturday's football game between the University of Southern California, where Simpson played football, Ohio State.
